The Study Plan and two overview reports (existing environmental conditions, and transportation and socio-economic conditions) were finalized in December 2007. The Project Team is currently in the process of identifying specific transportation problems and opportunities in the Niagara to GTA corridor. Additionally, the Project Team has proceeded with the technical work, which includes transportation demand forecasting and modelling to identify transportation problems. The findings from this exercise will be documented in a draft Area Transportation System Problems and Opportunities, which is expected to be available for stakeholder review in late 2008.
